The Premier Nobody Remembers

Frank Nicklin and the Queensland That Changed Around Him, 1957-1968

The Nicklin Government ran Queensland for eleven years, industrialised it, rebuilt its schools, and left almost nothing behind in the state’s memory of itself. There is still no book about it.

The author’s Master of History thesis on the period was awarded a High Distinction and abridged for the Queensland History Journal in 2014. It remains the only substantive published treatment. A full-length account is in research.

There is no publication date. This page exists so the work has an address when there is something to say about it.
